5/21 Groupwork

As I was absent last class, the content of the class is a bit uncertain. Therefore, this blog will be about my own ideas and opinions, in spite of the story my classmate filled me in with, and the team docs. Most of the class seemed to be group work. Continuing to Monday's class, where we discussed the improvements in need in the school. Our group firstly lined up the problems we found throughout the one week of research. In conclusion, the main issues were; poor information (technology), un-efficient space usage, and un-plentiful time allocation. After giving out the problems, we brainstormed the countermeasure towards each problem. The device during this process was giving out detailed ideas. For example, "Put rollers on the chairs" "Give out the parent letter in the school homepage." and several more. Looking through other friends blogs, each group had its own way of brainstorming and giving out ideas. I wondered how does the way affect the result. In addition, I also thought it would be nice if we could share our ideas as well as the process until reaching the idea. It might lead to knowing the most efficient way, or a comfortable way.
Looking back at my school live for approximately one year, " the locker is too narrow,"
" the computer is so slow," " the pool is kind of dirty, " these kinds of opinions and thoughts were mixed inside our daily conversation. However, none of us actually thought to try to solve the whole problem. As there are so many, and each day, we seem to notice about new ones, it might be impossible to think of a countermeasure for each one. Although, throughout this team, I hope to consider the highest priorities. In addition, it could be possible to extend the whole project outside of the class as well. Either way, the first step would be a presentation to the whole grade. Therefore,
the consideration of the presentation in this class would be another huge task and step. I hope to decide the corrects order of the slides and speakers; mouth, data, heart in an appropriate way in the forward classes and process.
