6/10 About CC search and its usage

 Today, we learned about the copyrights in presentations and others such as videos, blogs, and much more. To start with, we observed the introduction by cc search, which is a system to simplify the process of the usage of copyright. By putting in a keyword and choosing wither you want a picture video, illustrate, (etc), the site will automatically line up the contents that are free. For our presentation, mainly photos and pictures were the aims. In spite of this, "Pixabay" and "Flicker" was introduced. Comparing the two, Pixabay is considered easier since the laws and rules (marks) are less. In my own opinion, remembering the meaning of each mark seems a bit difficult; through this class, I was unable to grow accustomed to it. I hope to review the video again during and after the making of our presentations. Another thing we learned was the copyright of the people, especially their faces inside the photo. For instance, if there was a photo you wanted to upload that had someone's face inside or visible, you would have to have their consent. However, if the actual face or an essential part showing they're personal information is invisible, it is basically fine to upload the photo or picture.
 The left half of the class was group work. Our group first took pictures which showed the school's
problems. Mainly, the projector in front of the blackboard and the blackboard itself, the size of the lockers, and the light coming from the windows, chairs, desks, and much more. By taking photos and actually observing the classrooms, changing into spectator mode and insider mode, there were new problems found which were unnoticed before. After the photo taking process, we returned and searched through with cc search for photos possibly suitable for our presentation. We mainly used Pixabay and Flicker. However, the photos and pictures we aimed for were hard to find. Pixabay and Flicker had many images of the schools overseas and not many Japanese classrooms which were our aim. In the end, we took some free photos without copyrights from the Japanese websites. I think there are different times when we should use cc search and use other websites.
