Chapter 6 The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black

After being forced back to their upstairs room, Harry, Ron, and Geroge, Fred, who apparated from the room next door continued their conversation. "What do you reckon it is?." "But there can't be anything worse than the Avada Kedava curse." "He's got the Cruciatus Curse for causing pain. (A curse that torments people physically)" The four silenced as the idea of the weapon ran out. As Mrs. Weasly who seemed to be anxious about whether the children slept came coming up the stairs, Geroge and Fred immediately apparated back into their own rooms. Two left, Harry and Ron called it a day and decided to go to bed.

Hours later, Harry and Ron dressed properly had entered a drawing-room filled with dust and dirty tapestries. Mrs. Weasly Geroge, Fred, Hermoine, and Ginny joined them, each of them holding a bottle with a nozzle at the end. Apparently, they were helping the "Cleaning" of the house. "Doxycide" "When I say the word, start spraying immediately.""They'll come flying out at us, I expect, but it says on the sprays one good squirt will paralyze them. When they're immobilized, just throw them in this bucket." said Mr. Weasly. In a few seconds, they were spraying rapidly towards the creatures. Geroge and Fred who ignored their dad's explanation where tucking several paralyzed Doxy's in their pockets. "We want to experiment with Doxy venom for our Skiving Snack boxes." "A range of sweets to make you ill-not seriously ill, mind, just ill enough to get you out of class when you feel like it." Harry pretended that he was cleaning the nozzle conversed quietly with the twins. Last year, Harry who won the Triwizard tournament (A wizarding tournament) had won a good deal of money. However, as Harry himself was already rich enough, thanks to the money his parents left for him before they died, he decided to hand over the money to Geroge and Fred instead; so they could accelerate in creating their own joke shop. As Mr. Weasly and Mrs. Weasly would be furious if they found out that about this, and Hermione and Ron would be protesting about the money, the three of them had kept it to themselves. "We put advertisements in the Daily Prophet"""Don't worry. Mum doesn't have a clue. She won't read the Daily Prophet any more' cause of it telling lies about you and Dumbledore." said Geroge and Fred, as they grinned.

As they finished with the Doxycide and headed upstairs, a House-elf called Kreacher emerged. He kept muttering complaints and dissatisfactions under his breath and had an extremely edged personality towards all of the humans in the house. Hermione introduced Harry to him, as the House-elf's pale eyes widened to his sight and name. He started muttering furiously again. "What do you want anyway?" asked Geroge. "Kreacher is cleaning," said Kreacher evasively as Sirius appeared from behind him. "A likely story," he said, glowering at the elf. They immediately proceeded into a fight as Siuis picked him up and put him in the room facing them, slamming the door. "Sirius, he's not right in the head.""I don't think he realizes we can hear him." said Hermione. "He's been alone for too long." "taking mad orders from my mother's portrait and talking to himself," replied Sirius.

Harry followed Sirius to a tapestry which contained a sprawling family tree dating back until the middle ages. The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black 'Toujours pur" it wrote. "You're not in here!" said Harry as he scanned the tapestry. Sirius explained that his mother had removed him after he left the house when he was 16; because he hated his family. He was taken by James (Harry's dead father) and his grandparents and managed his own place with the minor of money he received from his uncle when he was seventeen. Harry pointed to Sirius cousin; Bellatrix Lestrange and Roldusphus Lestrange. "They're in Azkaban" explained Sirius bitterly. The two used to be the supporters of Voldemort before being caught. "As far as I'm concerned, they're not my family. She's certainly not my family. Do you think I'm proud of having a relative like her?" said Sirius. He really seemed to detest his cousin. As they continued their conversation about Sirius and his family and the house Harry asked, "If they do expel me, (From Hogwarts because he used the Patronus charm in the first chapter)""Can I come back here and live with you?" Sirius smiled sadly as he said, "We'll see." They joined the others as Mrs. Weasly called them for lunch.

As they finished lunch and headed back upstairs again, Kreacher was once again roaming around. He seemed to be clutching a ring. Sirius snatched it back from him. "It was my father's,""Kreacher wasn't quite devoted to him to him as to my mother, but I still caught him snogging a pair of my father's old trousers,"  he said throwing it into a sack and throwing Kreacher outside of the room. Despite the fact that he was still having nightmares, Harry enjoyed his stay at Siruis's house; as long as he was busy, he was happy. However, he felt as if a brick dropped into his stomach when Mrs. Weasly turned to him in dinner saying "I've ironed your best clothes for tomorrow morning, and Harry, I want you to wash your hair tonight, too. A good first impression can work wonders." Hermione, Ron, George, Fred, Ginny has silenced with the word as well. All of them seemed to be extremely anxious about the Hearing. (Harry was informed in the second chapter to visit the ministry for his hearing, to decide whether if he was being expelled or not.)

I was inspired by all the features in Siruis's house. Once again, I thought it was a chapter that showed Sirius's appearance, as well as his bond with Harry. The chapters have definitely been taking his existence into one of the main characters in the book. However, I was curious about why he smiled sadly when Harry asked him if he could live with him if he was expelled. I expected him to be happy as a grandfather and felt that perhaps this could be some kind of plot-twist or backgrounds Sirius was hiding. In addition, I was also extremely anxious about Harry's hearing. Overall, it was a chapter with a calm atmosphere, although also contained several anxious elements.
