10/12 Meatrix

 Today we watched the series "The Meatrix." I found similar scenes from the movie The Matrix throughout the videos, which made me laugh and enjoy the series. Such devisements allowed me to concentrate on the contents of the video and the truth of factory farming. Since we were introduced to an actual film about factory farming in the previous semester, I found the whole plot of the video, including the facts it introduced about factory farming both familiar. While living in Japan, such facts about food are hard to imagine. In addition, I thought that perhaps another reason "The Meatrix does not contain Japanese subtitles is that Japanese believe they are irrelevant with such problems. However, I wondered if it is relevant to say that Japanese food is completely safe, just because the majority did not experience food problems in their daily lives.
